About Me

My photo
Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mum to an inquisitive and often rambunctious three year old girl and her sunny little brother. In a former life, I was a lawyer. I know which I prefer. On the odd occasion that I get some downtime, I knit, crochet, read, sew, sing badly, dance even more so, enjoy a glass of wine and watch bad TV, sometimes in varying combinations of the foregoing and not necessarily in that order of preference.

    1. Thank you. It's great when a plan comes together and this worked out just how I hoped. It was really simple but perhaps that's why it worked. - I have a habit of making things overly fussy and then being disappointed so I tried really hard to just keep it basic.

  2. Just lovely!

This week I couldn't choose between two photos so I decided to "break the rules" and share both! They both just captured our week too perfectly!

    1. I can see why you couldn't choose. They are both such great photos. I love the concentration in the indoor pic.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

    1. I saw the idea in Cherry Menlove's book, The Handmade Home, and really loved it. I'd completely forgotten about the heart-print fabric until I started searching through my box of fat quarters. I had to cut really carefully so that I would only use one corner as I instantly wanted to make something for my daughter using it too.
